Featured in Woman’s Week: Turning Loss Into Purpose

I’m so honored to share that I was recently featured in Woman’s Week!

This article highlights something deeply personal to me—how some of the hardest seasons of my life became the foundation for the books I’ve written and the message I now share with others.

Writing Through Loss

My journey into becoming an author didn’t follow a straight path. Like many people, life shifted in ways I never expected. A series of heartbreaking losses changed my perspective and forced me to look at life differently.

For years, I had been writing quietly in the background. But after everything I experienced, that quiet dream turned into something much louder: now or never.

That moment became the starting point for everything that followed.

The Heart Behind My Books

Each of my books reflects a different part of that journey:

  • Adulting 101 was inspired by real-life experiences navigating the “real world” and learning practical life skills.
  • In Case I Die comes from my personal experiences with grief, loss, and learning to find meaning in the hardest moments.
  • Making Waves represents growth—learning to set boundaries, find my voice, and step into who I truly am.

While each book is different, they all share one purpose: helping people feel less alone while giving them tools to navigate life’s challenges.

Why This Feature Matters

Being featured in Woman’s Week means so much to me because it allows this message to reach even more people. It’s not just about my story—it’s about what that story can offer others.

If something I’ve written helps even one person feel seen, understood, or a little more hopeful, then every difficult moment that led me here has had purpose.

Thank You for Being Here

Whether you’ve read my books, shared my work, or simply followed along on this journey—thank you. Your support means more than I can ever fully put into words.

If you haven’t had a chance yet, I’d love for you to read the feature and let me know what resonates with you most.

💛
